Tervitan kõiki golfihuvilisi kevade saabumise puhul ja soovin kõigile edukat algavat teist 2+2 hooaega! Püüan allpool anda lühikese ülevaate sügisel-talvel Rae golfiväljakul tehtud ümberehitustöödest ja plaanidest hooaja alguseks seoses nende tööde lõpetamisega.
Üle pika aja tuli mõneks ajaks tõeline talv. Kasutasime seda külma aega maapinna külmutamiseks 2. ja 3. rajal, et oleks võimalik seal kinnikasvanud tiiki süvendada. Süvendamine õnnestus, kaevasime veele ka väikese laienduse enne griini teisel rajal. Teiselt griinilt kolmandale tiile viib nüüd uus teerada, griini ja tii vahelise ala reljeefi on parandatud. Oleme torusse peitnud ka teisel ja kolmandal rajal olnud kraavid.
Magistraalkraavist üleminekuks esimese ja teise raja vahel ning neljandal rajal on valmis saamas uus sild. Vundamendi valame eeloleval nädalal, kui juurdeviiv tee on betooniauto sõitmiseks piisavalt tahenenud. Uus ja uhke sild ise on juba valmis ning eeldatavasti saame ta kahe nädala pärast paika tõsta. Üleminekuks esimeselt rajalt teisele on praegu ajutine sild, neljandal rajal oleks mõistlik kasutada griinist paremale jäävat maasilda.
Viienda raja tiide ümber lõplik tasandamine peab ootama veidi maapinna kuivamist. Siis tehakse see ala lõplikult valmis koos neljanda griini uue vasakpoolse punkri ja esimeselt griinilt uue silla suunas lähtuva üleminekuteega.
Üheksandat rada peab kahjuks paar nädalat mängima talvegriinile. Niipea, kui saame valmis remondiala läbiva teeraja ning griini esisele lõpliku kuju antud, saab mängida uuele griinile.
